Discover the Blue Lagoon and the island around it. Find direct boat contacts, clear landing-pass guidance and real bay and heritage positions, with your return arranged before setting out.
Our starting approach is a day trip from a Malta or Gozo base. Keep your boat arrangements with the operator and your accommodation arrangements with the property.
SWIMMING · SHORE ACCESS
Blue Lagoon
Arrange a free timed Blue Lagoon landing pass through the official portal when you intend to remain ashore in its managed area. The pass is separate from your paid boat ticket.
Children under five with a parent or guardian do not need a pass. Check the official FAQ for the precise pass-through exceptions.
Our suggestion: choose a manageable shore visit and leave time for a calm return. Carry what your family needs rather than assuming it is available at every stop.
Ask the operator about shade, toilets, boarding steps, lifejackets and where to meet the return boat.
BEYOND THE WATER · SEPARATE WALK
St Mary’s Tower & island heritage
Consider St Mary’s Tower and the island’s heritage as an outdoor outing beyond the Lagoon. Consult official visitor information and ask about current tower opening rather than relying on an old seasonal timetable.
Match any island walk to your group, heat and return boat. No fixed walk duration or live route is promised.
7 of 7 entries have matched map positions. Pins show community-mapped positions or area centres, not confirmed entrances. Use the list and official information to plan your visit. The map does not track your location.
No matching places. Try another name or choose Everything.
Western Comino · Swimming
Blue Lagoon
A swimming stop with managed shore access. Reserve the appropriate landing pass if you intend to stay ashore in the Lagoon area.
A community-mapped ferry landing near the Lagoon. Different operators can use different meeting points: confirm your exact boat, jetty and return with your operator.
A coastal cave area for orientation. A boat cave visit depends on the operator and sea conditions; this pin does not establish a land entrance or suitable snorkelling route.
A coastal fortification distinct from St Mary’s Tower. The official Comino walking resource provides heritage background; confirm current access and your real approach before setting out.
A small chapel near the bay, included in the official island walking resource. The pin marks the building; current indoor opening has not been confirmed.
Use the operator’s current information for departures, conditions and fares.
Comino Ferries Co-Op · Malta departures
The operator lists services from Marfa and Ċirkewwa. Confirm which departure point your ticket uses, the actual return and the arrangements for your family. Arrange the boat directly with the operator.
The operator serves Ċirkewwa and Mġarr. Its FAQ describes the kiosk-side Malta meeting point and a blue umbrella in front of the Mġarr ferry terminal; reconfirm the exact meeting place, boat and return directly.
The official portal currently offers morning, afternoon and sunset slots. Choose the available slot matching your boat and keep the QR code offline or printed. Arriving late leaves only the remainder of your slot.
The pass does not include ferry travel. Give the operator your intended shore slot, reconfirm the return and ask about boarding steps, shade, toilets and lifejackets. Services and cave visits depend on conditions.
VisitGozo provides a Comino walk resource. It is background for choosing your outing, not a current verified path trace; check the actual approach, conditions and return with your operator.
Bring water, snacks and sun protection. Do not rely on seasonal kiosks for every need. Find the bus connection to your Malta or Gozo departure harbour and allow the real final walk to the boat meeting point.
